Jersey ATH still hopes to visit Spartans
Egg Harbor Township (N.J.) three-star athlete Tejay Johnson (6-2, 190), who had been planning to visit Michigan State on Oct. 3 for the Michigan game, still hopes to make it to East Lansing for an official visit before ending his recruitment.
At this point Johnson hasn't rescheduled a visit with the Spartans, but he's been in contact with his primary recruiter, defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi, who recently sent him a hand-written letter.
"I got a letter from Coach Narduzzi but I haven't talked to him yet," Johnson told SpartanMag.com about rescheduling a visit with the Spartans.
"He told me good job on the win that I had that Friday and that we will talk," Johnson added of the contents of Narduzzi's letter.
The Spartans are recruiting Johnson at his listed position, athlete, and they are interested in his abilities on both sides of the ball.
