November 6, 2009 Central quarterback Will Briscoe saved the best for last. The senior quarterback threw a season-high 382 yards and five touchdown passes, including three to twin brother Wes Briscoe as the Wildcats capped their regular season with a 56-0 win over Live Oak. Will Briscoe also scored a rushing touchdown as Central won for the eighth straight and scored 50 or more points for the sixth time this season.Will Briscoe completed 17 of 22 passes for 382 yards and 5 touchdowns against no interceptions. Wes Briscoe had seven receptions for a season-high 167 yards and the three scores, which came on passes of 86, 3 and 35 yards. Shedrick Davis had five receptions for 112 yards and two touchdowns. Central (9-1) posted season highs in total offense with 577 yards, passing yards with 430 yards and first downs with 24. Will Briscoe set an individual season high with 417 yards of total offense. In addition to his passing yards he netted 35 rushing yards, including a 48-yard touchdown run. Will Briscoe finishes the regular season with 30 touchdown passes and two interceptions, completing 142 of 208 passes (68.3 percent) for 2,388 yards. He also scored seven rushing touchdowns. Wes Briscoe caught 43 passes for 956 yards and 16 touchdowns. Central scored 29 points in the first quarter, just two weeks removed from a 41-point opening quarter.
