Gunsby places UGA high on his list
Junior athlete Jamius Gunsby is receiving interest from many schools early in the process and one of them is the University of Georgia. The versatile athlete out of Lagrange (GA) visited Georgia recently and he has placed the Dawgs high on his list.
"I went to Georgia for the Alabama game and the atmosphere was the best I have ever seen for a football game," said Gunsby. "It was a great experience and it is something I would love to play in. I dream about playing in an atmosphere like that. The fans stuck with Georgia, they were always in the game, and I couldn't even hear at times. I enjoyed it."
His home state team fell to Alabama 41-30 during his visit, but Gunsby liked what he saw out of each team.
"Alabama just came out ready to play and then Georgia turned it on in the second half. Georgia had a bad first half and that really surprised me a lot. I thought Georgia was going to win that game, but Alabama just played a little better."
This was the first UGA game the 6-foot-4, 218 pound athlete out of Lagrange (GA) had attended as a prospect. Georgia is just one of the many schools recruiting him at this time.
