Sapolu takes in Corvallis

In early March, Oregon State received its first verbal commitment from offensive lineman Roman Sapolu from Huntington Beach (CA) Edison. Sapolu committed to the Beavers, sight unseen for the opportunity to play for Coach Mike Cavanaugh. Last Friday, Sapolu and his parents made the trip to Oregon State's Premier Performance Camp where he was able to showcase his skills and see the campus.

"I really liked it," Sapolu told BeaverBlitz after the camp. "It was a good experience to showcase my skills to the coaches and interact with them on the football field. It was really a preview of what is to come."
